This exclusive club of track-Hypercar owners will now have access to even more thrilling and extreme performance with the introduction of this new vehicle. Horacio Pagani, the Founder and Chief Designer of Pagani Automobili, expresses his excitement about pushing the boundaries of performance and emotion with the Huayra R Evo, taking the driving experience to new heights.
**Arte in Pista: A high-octane program for an exclusive club of passionate clients**
The Arte in Pista program was launched in 2021 to provide a personalized calendar of events for owners of Pagani’s high-performance models, including the Huayra R, Zonda R, and Zonda Revolución. This program offers non-competitive track events at prestigious FIA circuits, providing clients with high-octane sessions and leisurely moments to enjoy their vehicles to the fullest. Professional drivers, technical assistance, and expert support are all part of the program, allowing clients to enhance their driving skills and experience the full potential of their Hypercars.
**Genesis of a project born from the world of racing**
The design of the Huayra R Evo was inspired by single-seater cars observed at a Formula Indy race in Nashville, leading to the creation of a vehicle with protective polycarbonate surfaces and the option to remove roof panels for an immersive driving experience. Drawing on the elegance of Le Mans prototypes from the ’60s and ’70s, Pagani’s team meticulously addressed aerodynamics, design, and every detail to create a high-performance and distinctive vehicle. The project involved extensive testing and collaboration with partners like Pirelli and Brembo to develop top-tier components for the Huayra R Evo.
**The design, the result of a carefully studied evolution in its natural environment**
The Huayra R Evo features a unique design with aerodynamic enhancements, including a front layout with efficient air ducts, extended splitters, and double row flicks on the hood. The body design incorporates Class A carbon fiber for visual appeal and structural performance, increasing stiffness characteristics while reducing weight. The rear of the vehicle follows the ‘codalunga’ concept with extended hoods, central stabilizing fins, and rear extractors to optimize airflow and streamline performance on the track.
**The new Pagani V12-R Evo engine boosted to 900 hp**
The collaboration between Pagani and HWA AG resulted in the upgraded V12-R Evo engine, delivering 900 hp at 8,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 770 Nm. The engine offers superior track performance with a redline at 9,200 rpm, thanks to optimizations in the intake manifold, control unit calibration, and exhaust system design. The meticulous craftsmanship and advanced technology used in the refinements of the engine ensure a distinctive sound and enhanced performance for the Huayra R Evo.
