The 2025 Mini Countryman SE ALL4 Offers 212 Miles of Range at $46,195

The 2024 Mini Countryman SE ALL4 electric crossover is set to offer up to 212 miles of range and will be priced at $46,195 (including a $995 destination fee) when it arrives in U.S. dealerships this fall. This launch follows Mini’s announcement last year, where it confirmed the electric Countryman shortly after the redesigned crossover was unveiled at the 2023 Munich auto show. While the previous model offered a plug-in hybrid powertrain, this will be the first time the Countryman will be available with an all-electric powertrain, although combustion powertrains will still be an option.

Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive Powertrain

The U.S. version of the Countryman SE ALL4 will come equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain that delivers a total of 308 hp and 364 lb-ft of torque. This setup allows the crossover to accelerate from 0-60 mph in an estimated 5.4 seconds. In Europe, a single-motor version will also be available for customers to choose from.

DC Fast Charging Capability

Mini has also confirmed that the Countryman SE ALL4 will be capable of DC fast charging at speeds of up to 130 kW. This feature enables the vehicle to achieve a 10%-80% charge in approximately 30 minutes, providing convenience for drivers on the go who need to quickly top up their battery.

Future Electric Lineup

The electric Countryman will join a redesigned electric version of the traditional Mini Cooper hatchback in the lineup. Both models were unveiled in 2023, featuring options for gasoline and electric powertrains. However, Mini has not yet disclosed the U.S. launch details for the electric Cooper. Once introduced, it will replace the Mini Cooper SE, which is currently the only electric vehicle offered by the brand in the U.S.

Uncertainty Surrounding the Aceman

Earlier this year, Mini also showcased the Aceman, a new electric crossover positioned between the Countryman and Cooper in terms of size. This model, inspired by a 2022 concept car, remains uncertain in terms of reaching the U.S. market. The Aceman boasts a minimalist design and innovative features, but its availability in the U.S. is yet to be confirmed.

In conclusion, the 2024 Mini Countryman SE ALL4 electric crossover brings advanced technology and impressive performance to the Mini lineup. With its strong electric powertrain, fast charging capabilities, and sleek design, this model promises to be a popular choice for eco-conscious customers seeking an electrified crossover option. Additionally, Mini’s commitment to expanding its electric offerings signals a bright future for the brand as it continues to innovate and adapt to the evolving automotive landscape.
