Standard Features of the 2025 Volkswagen ID.7

The upcoming ID.7 is set to mark Volkswagen’s first foray into the electric sedan segment, with two trim levels and a host of standard features to offer buyers. The base Pro S model includes amenities such as illuminated logos, a panoramic glass roof, and a luxurious interior with massage-equipped seats. Meanwhile, upgrading to the Pro S Plus trim brings enhancements like larger wheels, dynamic steering, and a premium sound system.

**Trim Levels and Features**
At launch, the ID.7 will be available in two trim levels: Pro S and Pro S Plus. The Pro S model comes equipped with a variety of standard features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, heated front seats with massage functionality, and Volkswagen’s IQ.Drive suite of driving aids. The Pro S Plus trim enhances the driving experience with additional amenities such as adaptive damping, Climatronic seats, and a high-end Harman Kardon sound system.

**Exterior and Interior Design**
Buyers will have the option to choose from five exterior colors for the ID.7, including Mythos Black, Glacier White, and Kings Red. The sedan retains a distinctive arch-shaped trim above the windows, regardless of the chosen color. Inside, customers can select between two interior themes: Galaxy, with black seats and white stitching, or Lunar, featuring gray seats and contrast stitching.

**Performance and Powertrain**
Both trim levels of the ID.7 are powered by an 82-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, offering either rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations. The rear-wheel-drive model delivers 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque, while opting for all-wheel-drive increases the output to 335 horsepower. The sedan also boasts the capability to perform driver-initiated automatic lane changes, thanks to its advanced technology features.

**Price and Availability**
Volkswagen plans to reveal pricing and range details closer to the ID.7’s launch in late 2024, positioning the sedan as a premium offering within the company’s lineup. While the ID.7 Tourer station wagon will be available in Europe, it is unlikely to be sold alongside the sedan in the United States. Customers eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ID.7 can expect a blend of performance, luxury, and advanced technology in Volkswagen’s new electric sedan.
