The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is set to be a large SUV that will offer a luxurious and powerful driving experience. With the upcoming Escalade IQL, Cadillac will be introducing an even longer version of the Escalade IQ, possibly making it the longest vehicle in their lineup. The IQL will feature unique styling, with large triangular body-color C-pillars and gloss black D-pillars that give it a distinctive look. Despite the changes in appearance, the mechanical and electrical components are expected to be similar to the standard IQ model, with dual electric motors, 680 horsepower, 615 pound-feet of torque, more than 200-kWh of battery capacity, and a range of over 400 miles.
Unique Styling and Design
From the rear doors forward, the IQL is similar to the standard IQ model, but the rear of the vehicle has undergone significant changes. The large triangular C-pillars and gloss black D-pillars give the SUV a more vertical appearance, maximizing rear cargo space but sacrificing some sporty aesthetics. The split vertical taillights remain a defining feature of the Cadillac Escalade lineup, adding to the unique design of the IQL.
Powerful Performance
The Escalade IQL is expected to deliver a powerful and efficient performance, thanks to its dual electric motors that produce 680 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque. With more than 200-kWh of battery capacity, the IQL will offer a range of over 400 miles, making it a practical option for long trips. Despite its size and power, the IQL will likely provide a smooth and quiet driving experience, characteristic of electric vehicles.
Luxurious Interior and Features
Inside, the Escalade IQL is expected to offer a spacious and luxurious cabin, with high-quality materials and advanced technology features. Cadillac is known for its attention to detail and premium finishes, and the IQL will likely be no exception. From comfortable seating to state-of-the-art infotainment and driver-assist systems, the IQL will provide a first-class driving experience for its occupants.
Price and Availability
While pricing for the Escalade IQL has not been officially announced, it is expected to be higher than the standard IQ models, with base trims starting at over $130,000 and higher trims surpassing $150,000. With the prototype of the IQL already in a near-finished state, Cadillac is likely to reveal the SUV within the year and begin deliveries shortly after. Despite its premium price tag, the Escalade IQL is expected to attract buyers who seek a combination of luxury, performance, and advanced technology in a large SUV.
