The Lamborghini Opera Unica Revuelto: A Masterpiece of Artistic Customization
Lamborghini recently unveiled its one-off Revuelto called the Opera Unica, showcasing the unique capabilities of the Ad Personam personalization division. This "purely artistic" creation required an immense amount of time and effort, with 435 hours dedicated to painting the bodywork and another 220 hours to paint and stitch the interior. The second Revuelto Opera Unica, inspired by the beautiful coastline of Sardinia, was revealed at Hotel Cala di Volpe on the island’s Emerald Coast. The intricate paint job on this vehicle took 475 hours to complete, highlighting the artistic talent of the Lamborghini team.
Pushing the Boundaries of Creativity
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated, "This Opera Unica takes our creativity a step further, demonstrating paint techniques and interior finishes that are reserved for one-offs." The design of the Revuelto Opera Unica reflects the distinctive seascape and emotions of Italy’s most beautiful island destination. The exterior features Nero Bocca paint, carbon splitter and sills, and wheels in Shiny Black with Diamond Polished Altanero, while the interior showcases a blend of different shades of blue to represent waves and the sea.
Exceptional Attention to Detail
The interior of the Revuelto Opera Unica is a testament to the craftsmanship and attention to detail of the Lamborghini team. The embroidered accents on the seats required a tool that took 85 hours to create, with thread colors in various shades of blue and white meant to mimic the movement of waves. Even the start button in the cabin features a Blu Mira Carbon plaque, adding a touch of artistic flair to the overall design of the vehicle.
