The 2025 Kia K5: Pricing, Features, and Updates
Kia’s 2025 K5 has received updates to its exterior styling, interior design, and engine options, making it an even more attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. Despite the improvements, the pricing for the new K5 remains affordable, staying close to the numbers seen in the previous model year.
The Base 2025 K5 LXS starts at $28,145, with the GT-Line FWD priced at $29,145. Opting for AWD adds $1,600 to the price, while the front-wheel-drive EX model starts at $35,645. The sporty K5 GT is slightly more affordable, starting at $34,245. Sales are set to begin in the second quarter of 2024.
Standard features on the K5 include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, six speakers, and more. Higher trims offer additional luxuries such as navigation, a digital gauge cluster, LED interior lighting, and synthetic leather upholstery with sport seats. The car also comes equipped with a full suite of advanced driver aids, including blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control.
The new entry-level 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine in the K5 produces 191 horsepower and 181.5 pound-feet of torque, an improvement over the previous model. The range-topping GT trim is powered by a 2.5-liter engine that generates 290 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
In addition to the K5, Kia has introduced an all-new K4 sedan for 2025, replacing the Forte as its entry-level offering. The K4 shares the same four-cylinder engine as the Forte, with the top GT-Line Turbo model getting a 190-horsepower turbo-four engine. Pricing for the K4 has not been released, but Kia plans to release a hatchback version shortly after the sedan’s launch.
