The highly anticipated Mercedes Maybach SL is set to make its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance during Monterey Car Week. The luxury convertible was first teased as the Maybach SL concept two years ago, and now the production version is finally almost here. While not much was revealed in the 2022 concept teaser, we can expect a host of styling changes and upgrades on the final product, including special paint options, unique color schemes, hand-drawn pinstripes, and flashy trim.
Luxury features are also expected inside the Maybach SL, with opulent leather options, premium material choices, and various Manufaktur upgrades. The list of standard features is anticipated to be extensive and comprehensive. The official reveal of the Maybach SL, including any significant powertrain upgrades, will take place on Sunday, August 18, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance’s “Concept Lawn.”
In addition to the Maybach SL, Mercedes will also showcase a limited special edition Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car at Pebble Beach as part of the brand’s celebration of 130 years of motorsports. The GT3 will be limited to just 13 units, drawing on two eras of Mercedes motorsport history for inspiration. Another highlight will be the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow, adding to the luxury lineup from the automaker.
Overall, the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance promises to be a showcase of luxury and performance from Mercedes, with the Maybach SL and other special edition models set to impress automotive enthusiasts and collectors alike. Stay tuned for more details on these exclusive vehicles and the unique features they will offer.
