Recall for Coolant Heater Defrost Issue
In a separate recall, Lucid has also announced a recall for 7,506 Air sedans built between 2022 and 2024 due to a coolant heater issue that may lead to a failure in defrosting the windshield. Despite a low failure rate, the EV maker has rolled out a software update to provide warnings to drivers in case of HVCH failure. Vehicles with issues will receive a new High Voltage Coolant Heater free of charge. Newer models manufactured after February 2023 are not affected by this recall as they have a newer version of the coolant heater.
