Italdesign’s New Concept Car – A Unique Blend of Sports Car and Pickup Truck – Packs 777 Horsepower

Italdesign has created a unique vehicle that combines the sleek design of a GT car with the utility of a pickup truck. The Quintessenza concept car is designed for stargazing, with a luxurious interior and rugged exterior features. Despite being just a concept, the EV boasts some impressive specs and design elements that set it apart from other vehicles on the market.

The Quintessenza’s design features a long wheelbase and spacious interior that can accommodate four passengers. The central console houses various controls, an organizer, and a refrigerated mini-bar, making it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The rear seats can be reclined, and the rear hardtop removed to open the cabin to the outside world, providing an immersive stargazing experience.

The interior of the Quintessenza is minimalist and serene, providing a stark contrast to the rugged exterior. The vehicle features chunky fender flares, sharp lighting elements, and a fastback roof that conceals the truck bed. It can adjust its ground clearance and features full-length scissor doors and an electronically powered tailgate.

Powering the Quintessenza is a 150-kilowatt-hour battery feeding three electric motors, with a total output of 777 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in under three seconds, but towing and payload capacities have not been disclosed by Italdesign. While the Quintessenza may never see production, its innovative design and impressive performance make it a standout concept car in the automotive world.
