ECD Auto Design is expanding its line of restomod vehicles with the Toyota FJ, joining other classics in their lineup such as the Land Rover Range Rover, Jaguar E-Type, and Ford Mustang. The FJ will be powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 engine from Chevrolet paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, along with upgrades to the fuel system, exhaust system, axles, suspension, cooling systems, and disc brakes.
## Customization Options
Inside the FJ, ECD offers customization options such as matching the dashboard color to the exterior, Momo steering wheel, hand-stitched leather seats, heat and sound insulation, air conditioning, premium sound system, Bluetooth capability, backup camera, USB charge ports, and an alarm system. Buyers can select from a variety of paint colors and wheel options, as well as leather and headliner choices.
## Production Timeline
ECD will begin building the FJ in the third quarter of 2024, with deliveries expected to start in Q1 2025. The production will be integrated into the same line as the company’s other classic models, the Defender and Range Rover.
