2024 Sees the Mustang Mach-E with Improved Speed and Power

Introduction:
Ford has made some major updates to the Mustang Mach-E for 2024, including improved performance and range figures. The all-electric crossover now features a new rear motor that delivers more torque while weighing less, making it faster and more efficient than before. Ford has also introduced a Performance Upgrade software that enhances the vehicle’s performance and speed, making it quicker than its competitors in the same class. Additionally, the 2024 Mach-E lineup includes new trims and pricing options, making it easier for customers to find the perfect model for their needs.

Enhanced Performance:
The Mustang Mach-E GT trim has been upgraded for 2024, with the new Performance Upgrade software adding an additional 100 pound-feet of twist to the rear motor. This enhancement helps propel the vehicle to 60 miles per hour in just 3.3 seconds, outpacing competitors like the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. The GT can also complete a quarter-mile race in 11.8 seconds at 114 mph, thanks to its impressive 700 pound-feet of available torque.

Updated Features:
Ford has standardized several popular features on the GT trim for 2024, including Ford Performance front seats, Brembo-branded front brake calipers, and the MagneRide Damping System. These features were previously only available on the 2023 GT Performance Edition, which is no longer offered for the new model year. Additionally, the California Route 1 trim has been dropped from the lineup for 2024.

Improved Range:
The 2024 Mach-E lineup boasts improved range figures across the board. The Select trim can now travel up to 250 miles on a single charge, while the Premium trim with the Extended Range battery and rear-wheel-drive can go 320 miles. The GT trim has also seen an increase in range, now capable of traveling 280 miles on a single charge. The Rally trim offers 265 miles of range, making it a versatile option for customers.

Faster Charging Times:
In addition to improved range figures, Ford has also reduced charging times for the 2024 Mach-E lineup. Vehicles equipped with the extended-range battery can now charge almost 20 percent faster, going from 10 to 80 percent in 36.2 minutes. The Standard Range pack also charges more quickly, taking just 32.3 minutes to reach 80 percent. These faster charging times make the Mach-E even more convenient for daily use.

Pricing and Availability:
The 2024 Mustang Mach-E is available to order now, with prices starting at $41,890 for the Select trim. The Premium trim with the SR battery and RWD costs $45,890, while the GT is priced at $55,890. The top-tier Rally trim starts at $61,890. Ford is also offering a new Bronze Package for 2024 that costs $1,995, giving customers the option to enhance their vehicle’s performance at a discounted price. With a range of trims and pricing options, the 2024 Mustang Mach-E offers something for every electric vehicle enthusiast.
